And the latest ones to join the bandwagon of married couples are Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar as they finally announced the date of their marriage. It was in August 2020 when actress, Gauahar Khan, who's relationship with music composer, Ismail Darbar’s son, Zaid Darbar had started hitting the headlines and in November 2020, the two had announced their engagement and had made their relationship official. Recently, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar had jetted off to Dubai for a vacation. The lovely couple had spent quality time with one another and had shared adorable pictures from their Dubai getaway. In the pictures, Gauahar had looked pretty as she donned yellow pants and black top, and her fiancé, Zaid had complemented her perfectly by opting an olive-green t-shirt with denims. Zaid had captioned the pictures as “Hi Dubai.... I’m back, but this time with my Humsafar @gauaharkhan #Gaza.”
A few minutes back, Gauahar and Zaid took to their respective IG handles and shared the news of their wedding. Sharing mesmerising pictures from their pre-wedding photoshoot, the duo announced that they are all set to embark their journey of forever on December 25, 2020. The lovely couple also shared that keeping the current scenario in mind, they will be having an intimate ceremony with their family.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, the bride-to-be, Gauahar Khan revealed that within a month of knowing Zaid, the two decided to get engaged. In her words, “I was averse to the idea of being with anyone when I met him. Yet, I felt this was something different because I had never met someone like him. I felt this is my kind of human being. He is like me in many ways in thoughts, behaviour, history and characteristics. So, I knew we would have a great friendship. We didn’t have a courtship. I met him, we hit it off and he didn’t think he would propose to someone, marriage was not on his mind. When he asked me, it wasn’t planned. It was in a flow and after meeting me, in literally over a month, he proposed to me. On November 5, 2020, Gauahar had confirmed her relationship status with Zaid Darbar. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a mushy picture with her beau, Zaid. In the picture, we could see the duo posing with 'she said yes' balloons. The two were dressed in ethnic ensembles and were looking super cute together. Alongside it, Gauahar had tagged Zaid and had added a ring and a heart emoji. Zaid had shared the same post and on it, Gauahar's sister, Nigaar had commented, "Masha Allah my jaanejigars... may Allah shower all his blessings upon you both always ameen."
A few weeks ago, Gauahar's beau, Zaid had celebrated his 24th birthday, and the actress made sure to make his day super special. She had twinned with Zaid in a white ensemble, and they were looking super cute. Gauahar had shared a series of pictures with Zaid with a golden and white-coloured balloons in the backdrop.
