Ankita Lokhande Shares How She'll Always Remember Sushant Singh Rajput On His 35th Birth Anniversary

On Sushant Singh Rajput’s 35th birth anniversary, his once-ladylove, Ankita Lokhande posted a throwback video of the late actor and penned a wish for him.

Born in Patna, Bihar, Sushant Singh Rajput pursued an engineering degree and enrolled himself in Shiamak Davar's dance classes before moving to Mumbai and becoming one of the most celebrated actors of the Indian cinema. Sushant became a household name with his role of Manav in Pavitra Rishta and five years after entering the television industry, he made a shift and made his debut in Bollywood with the film, Kai Po Che!. Unfortunately, the world got to see very less of his talent but even in his twelve-year long career, Sushant taught us Khul Ke Jeene Ka Tareeka. Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate and sudden demise had started a rage amongst his family friends and fans. Everyone has been fighting for justice, making efforts and standing together to unveil the truth behind his demise. Sushant’s demise had also started the discussion on nepotism, drug nexus in Bollywood, the movie mafias are brought into the limelight and the B-town seems to be divided into groups. Sushant’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti and his ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande are fighting for justice and leading the movement on social media. When the Supreme Court had finally given a nod for the CBI enquiry in Sushant’s death case in August 2020, Ankita had expressed gratitude for the same and had posted, "The moment we've waited for has finally arrived" with the caption, "Gratitude".

Sharing one of his memories for life, Ankita had written, “#sushantday I don’t know how to start and what to say but yes today I’m gonna share few of yours old videos Sushant to celebrate you .these are the only memories I hv with u and i will always remember Like this happy, intelligent, romantic, mad and adorable #scotch has always missed u and now I guess he miss u more. I pray and I know tum jaha ho waha bahut khush ho. happy birthday to u. u will be missed #memoriesforlife.” In another video, Ankita gave a glimpse of Sushant, dancing on Jaadu Teri Nazar. She captioned the video as “Happy birthday Sushant. A true SRK fan. Keep smiling wherever u r.”

July 14, 2020 - when one month has passed away since Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, leaving our DilBechara, Ankita Lokhande had posted a special note for him. To mark his one-month death anniversary, Ankita had remembered Sushant and prayed for the 'Child Of God'. Sharing a picture of a diya, surrounded with flowers in the temple of her house, Ankita had written, "Child of God." Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput had become household names as Manav and Archana from Pavitra Rishta, and fans had rooted for them to be a couple in real life too. Fortunately, their wishes were granted and Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande had confirmed their relationship. When their fans were expecting to hear the wedding bells for their favourite Pavitra Rishta couple, Sushant and Ankita had announced that they had parted ways, leaving everyone shattered. The fans were heartbroken seeing Manav-Archana drift apart in real-life.

Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, his close friend, Vikas Gupta had posted a throwback picture with Sushant, Ankita Lonkhande, Pooja Gor and Raj Singh Arora, and had penned an emotional note remembering his 'carefree and tension-free' friend.
