How time flies with a blink of an eye! Bollywood’s most talked about kids, Karan Johar’s twins – Yash and Roohi Johar and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son Taimur Ali Khan are now one-year-old. And their cuteness level increases with each pic of them that gets viral on social media.
As much as Karan and Kareena are fond of each other and are BFFs, looks like their kids are also following their footsteps. Yash and Taimur are the new besties in town. Yash and Roohi celebrated their first birthday on February 7, 2018, and Taimur attended the celebration with mommy Kareena. Sharing the below picture from the birthday party, Karan captioned the picture, “Future musicians!!!!!”
Aren't these little cotton balls looking absolutely adorable? Both the tiny tots look hardly interested in playing the piano and are keener on a striking pose for the camera. Their customised pianos are a gift from Karan’s side for the little ones. And them trying their hands on it is just a sight not to be missed. Yash and Roohi’s birthday bash was a star-studded one. Not only Karan’s friends from the B-town attended the celebration, but their toddlers were the VIP guests of the party.
Siddharth Malhotra, who made a debut in Bollywood in Karan’s Student Of The Year, was also present at Yash and Roohi’s birthday bash. He shared a picture on his official Instagram handle with Shweta and Kajal, dressed in "Roohi and Yash" jerseys. Karan too shared a picture with a new addition in the Mujhse Dosti Karoge girls squad and captioning it as, "Girls squad goals."
Talking about his twins, Karan was earlier quoted as saying in an interview, "When they were born, I knew that my work, travel and social commitments would take a backseat because I’d want to give them unconditional love, care and attention. And now that they are home, I cannot stay away from them for long. It’s only been hours since I’ve been away and look at me! I’m sharply aware of the time, I keep looking at my phone, because it’s the channel to my kids. I’ve decided that as soon as they are old enough, and before they start school, I’m going to bring Roohi and Yash to the office. Why not! Aren’t they productions of Dharma Productions? I want everybody here to know them. I want them to be all over the place. And I’m already looking at building a crèche here. It will be like Disneyland!"
He further added, "I’m also looking forward to them travelling with me when I go outstation on shoots. Bebo’s son Taimur is a few months older than Roohi and Yash, and she and I have already started making plans for holidays together!” On Yash and Roohi's first birthday, doting daddy Karan shared a heart-warming message for them. He wrote, "I can’t thank the universe enough for giving my mother and me the most beautiful gift ever. Happy Birthday Roohi and Yash....you are a blessing to us"
