Nowadays there is a fashion of proper choreographed dance performances, but the fun which people have dancing to the tunes of dhol is paramount.

And when we specifically talk about Punjabi weddings, it is no less than a mini carnival and is known for their ‘larger than life’ celebrations in the most fun-loving way. What else could be better than dancing with your partner to the tunes of dhol?
Confused why we are building up so much about the dance in the Punjabi weddings? Well, as we brought to you the news of newly-wedded bride Anushka dancing like no one’s watching with the note in her mouth, we came across another video in which the couple is grooving to the Punjabi beats.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in a close-knit affair in Tuscany, Italy on December 11 and came back to India for the two receptions they are hosting for their close friends and family. We witnessed their high-security royal reception of Delhi which took place in Durbar Hall at Taj Diplomatic Enclave.

From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Punjabi folk singer Gurdas Maan, the guest list of the reception saw some big names as well. The Delhi reception was mainly for their relatives and family who were not able to attend their wedding in Italy. Their next celebration in line is their Mumbai reception (December 26) which is going to be a star-studded affair as it will be attended by their film and cricket fraternity friends.
Since no Punjabi wedding is complete without grooving bhangra or gidda on the dhol or Punjabi beats, this newly-wedded couple also shook their legs adding chaar-chaand to their celebrations. And watching Virushka letting loose their inner Punjabi having the hell of a time on their reception, is definitely a treat to watch. Check out their video here:
