Always known to hog the limelight with her antics and controversial career moves, Pakistani actress Veena Malik has done it again; this time no controversies though.
Veena got married to businessman Asad Bashir Khan Khattak in Dubai on Wednesday, December 25. She was quoted in an interview saying, "I'm more than happy today; I think I'm the happiest girl in the world," to Geo News. She claims it is an ‘arranged match’ and Asad is her father’s friend’s son. Apparently it was the families that wanted them to get married soon.
The actress shocked everyone with her tweet yesterday- ‘I have found my Soul mate.... my Friend...my Partner!!!’ She even put up a picture of the rings. As confirmed by her International Press Relations Manager Sohail Rashid, Veena's nikah ceremony took place in Dubai yesterday. It was a rushed event as Veena’s mother is unwell.

She first came into limelight with her notorious stay in the Bigg Boss 4 house, after which she was linked to actor Ashmit Patel. Later, with her much-hyped Swayamvar (the show was later shelved) and her even more talked about disappearance after the nude photo shoot, it seemed as if Veena’s stories did not seem to end.
In the past, when asked about her wedding plans, the actress had said that 2015 was the year she looked at settling down. She was also quoted saying that she was contemplating to get married to a Muslim. “I have been living in Dubai for many years now. So could be someone from Dubai. I don't believe in the concept of dating," is what the Pakistani star had said.
