This pre-wedding sangeet ceremony of a London-based designer, Tanushree Rungta seemed no less than any star-studded Bollywood awards night. The sangeet was hosted by Bollywood’s ace director, Karan Johar and Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein fame actress, Dia Mirza. Zero actress Katrina Kaif shook her legs on her songs, Dil Diyan Gallan from the film Tiger Zinda Hai, Afgan Jalebi from Phantom, and Kaala Chashma from Baar Baar Dekho.
And not only Bollywood’s chikni chameli showed her dance moves, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Shraddha Kapoor were also present at the event. While much-anticipated groom-to-be Ranveer Singh performed on Malhari from Bajiro Mastani, Gallan Goodiyan from Dil Dhadakne Do and Nashe Si Chadh Gayi from Befikre, soon-to-be-father Shahid Kapoor grooved to the title track of Shaandaar and Shraddha Kapoor danced on Galliyan from Ek Villain and Humma Humma from OK Jaanu. And no celebration is a celebration without a performance by KJo. Karan showed his killer Bollywood moves on the title track of Badri Ki Dulhaniya. Bollywood celebs’ powerpack performances led the stage on fire and the videos look so much fun. Isn’t it? And not only this, this bride got industry’s most trusted and best make-up artist, Namrata Soni and the master designer of B-town, Manish Malhotra for her sangeet outfit. Tanushree in her silver-grey artwork lehenga looked no less than a stunning Bollywood bride. And complementing her beautiful ensemble was her elegant make-up which was done by Namrata Soni. On the professional front, Ranveer Singh will be seen in a cop avatar in Simmba and Gully Boy opposite Ali Bhatt. Katrina Kaif will next be seen in Thugs of Hindostan opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, Zero opposite Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in Saaho, the untitled Saina Nehwal biopic. Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s next film together, Batti Gul Meter Chalu is slated to release in August 2018.
