Famous Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan walked down the aisle with Kunal Kemmu on January 25, 2015 after dating each other for a long time. The couple is expecting their first baby in 2017, and everyone’s super-excited about that.

Soha and Kunal were recently called upon for an event where Soha revealed a lot about her motherhood journey. And Kunal, on the other hand, shared how husbands can support their wives all this while.

Talking about this lovely phase of her life, Soha was quoted as saying:
“I really don’t know what to expect or how the journey ahead is going to be like. This Mothers’ Day will be a milestone for me because all my life I’ve appreciated my mother (veteran actor Sharmila Tagore) so much and now I am going to be a mom myself,”

The actress further added:
“Pregnancy changes a woman not just physically, but also emotionally. It is important that a mother feels calm and stress-free at all times. This is where fathers can play an important part,”
Soha even revealed how Kunal is supporting her during this love phase.
Here’s what she said:
“Kunal and I have been together for nine years now. We feel very blessed and were ready for this phase in our life. But I haven’t felt alone at all…Kunal has been extremely supportive of me in this journey and takes care of me in all way possible and makes me feel like a yummy mummy…I have my and Kunal’s family. Kunal has been a wonderful partner and this phase can be overwhelming for the to-be mother and father. He has done very well.”
Not just this, talking to a famous portal Jagran, she revealed an interesting thing. Here’s what she said:
“I wasn’t feeling well, so we ordered a jar of Imli candy. There would have been around 500 candies in that jar. You’ll be surprised to know that Kunal ate all the candies. Because of eating 25 candies in a day, he suffered from sour tooth.”

To which Kunal instantly added:
“Even I feel pregnant just like my wife.”
To-be father puts some light on how they can help their pregger wives during this time:
“You can say that I am part of this, but actually all the headaches, backaches, nausea… this woman is going through,”
He further added:
“The least a man can do is just extend his support. The actual partnership happens when the baby comes out. So, I am trying my best to be the supportive and silent partner,”
