Ex-Bigg Boss contestant Sambhavna Seth, who got engaged to Avinash Dwivedi on February 13 this year, is all set to tie the knot on July 14, 2016. They met on the sets of a regional dance reality show, where she was his mentor, and became good friends. With time, they fell in love.

The wedding will be a low-key affair and will take place in Delhi, as both Sambhavna and Avinash hail from the capital city. A reception in Mumbai for Seth’s industry friends will follow the wedding.

The couple had been in a steady relationship for 5 years before deciding to take the next step. According to reports, Sambhavna’s parents were against her alliance with Avinash, as he is financially unstable. Seth tried to convince her folks for a long time, but they did not agree.
Before her engagement, her parents uploaded her profile on a matrimonial website. That pushed the actress-cum-dancer to go ahead with the engagement, without her parents’ consent. But her engagement was not an impulsive decision for the feisty actress, it was a well thought-out decision.

She spilled the beans to a leading online forum:
Yes, I got engaged to him against my parents' will. I have been trying to convince them for a long time now. However, they haven't agreed on it. Their prime concern is that Avinash, when he started off wasn't financially settled. But, that is how the industry works.
Success isn't a quick thing, one has to struggle towards it. I, myself have struggled for a long time till reaching that 'settled' status. So, I understand my parents concern that me, being the female in the union, am more financially sane than him and that becomes a problem.
However, I have never been a materialistic person and such things never matter to me. Besides, Avinash is not someone who wants to sit back home and relax. He is a talented man and is working his way up slowly.
She added:
It's not that I took this take immediately. Its been five years and my parents asked me to meet prospective grooms for marriage. Respecting them, I even met a couple of them. But, when they uploaded my profile on matrimonial sites, I realised its time to make them realise that Avinash and I cannot live without each other.

Although the wedding date has been fixed, her parents are still steadfast on their decision. They will be a part of their daughter’s wedding, but her brothers and sisters-in-law will reportedly perform the wedding rituals.
But this hasn’t faltered Sambhavna’s belief and hope that her mum and dad will agree to the match someday. To this she said:
We are not giving up on trying to convince them. I know it sounds a filmy thing, where such a union only seem to happen in filmy stories, but, trust me, it happens in real if the people involved are totally honest.
I love my parents and will keep convincing them.
