Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa are among the cutest couples in Tinseltown. The duo never skip to paint the town red with their mushy romance, and people simply go gaga over them. For the unversed, the duo have been secretly dating one another since 2010. But it was finally in 2014, when they worked together in the film, CityLights, where they finally accepted about the same. The duo got hitched in November 2021.
In a recent interview with Brut India, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa opened up on their love story and recalled how they started out together. Patralekhaa mentioned that she got to know about Rajkummar only after she saw his film, Love Sex Aur Dhokha. Adding how her first impression of Rajkummar was tainted by his on-screen performance, Patralekhaa mentioned:
“Oh god this boy is so weird!”

Further in their revelations, Rajkummar Rao mentioned that it was back in 2010, when they crossed paths for the first time. He mentioned how he came across a pretty-looking face on television, which became his first impression of Patralekhaa. In his words:
“We met in 2010 and before that, there is a flashback. Two months back I was watching television at my home and there was this ad I was watching on TV. I saw this beautiful very pretty girl there and I thought ‘Wow she is so sweet, I wish I could marry her one day’.”
Back in 2022, Rajkummar Rao attended the India Today Conclave East 2022, and spilt some unheard deets about his married life. The actor mentioned that his wife has made his life complete by all means. He opened up on being the son-in-law of a Bengali family and added how it was the lockdown that made him gel with his extended family. Moreover, he also revealed how he shares household chores with wifey, Patralekhaa and added that he loves washing utensils at home.

In one of his earlier interviews with ETimes, Rajkummar Rao opened up about how his marriage had brought about a changed perspective in his life. He mentioned that it had been a beautiful phase and he has immense love and admiration for Patralekhaa. In his words:
“It's a beautiful feeling. I am so elated to be married to Patralekhaa. She is my best friend, the love of my life, my family and my everything. Something changes on a subconscious level. I feel more complete now."
