After a failed marriage, the actress moved on in life and tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Gaurav Gupta in January 2017, which was a court marriage. The two of the then had a lavish wedding with all that required pomp and show on March 5, 2017, in Mumbai's JW Marriott (read more).
This actress has been giving surprises ever since the beginning of 2017. Firstly, it was her secret court marriage and then her grand wedding. All these were pleasant surprises, but then came a shocking news. After five months of togetherness, in June 2017, we all came to know that the couple is living separately and the actress has filed for divorce (read the entire story here!).
And now there is a new update on this matter. Well, many of you might not know that Mandana’s estranged husband Gaurav is Meri Aashqui Tumse Hi fame actor Gautam Gupta’s brother. Yes, that’s right! Gautam is currently dating his co-star from the show, Smriti Khanna and he in fact, proposed her too recently (read more).
So now, as per a report by SpotboyE, the buzz in the industry is that Mandana is a difficult person to deal with. Moreover, the online tabloid quoted a source as saying:
"Mandana made life difficult for the Guptas, who are a very respectable family which will never indulge in washing dirty linen in public."
And the twist in the tale according to the portal is that Mandana didn’t want Smriti (sister-in-law) to stay in the same house as the lovebirds are contemplating marriage. Here’s what SpotboyE quoted a source as saying:
"Mandana's brother-in-law Gautam is dating TV actress Smriti Khanna and the couple had started to contemplate marriage. Mandana did not want another woman in the house."

It’s very sad to hear issues and fight between any couple, and when it’s being dragged in public, it’s even more saddening. But it seems that reconciliation here is no option at all. The source further added:
"That's wishful thinking. Too much water has quicklty flown under the bridge. Reconciliation is ruled out."
When the portal contacted Gautam to throw some light on this issue, he said:
"I will talk about Mandana when we decide to do so. Right now, I don't want to say anything."
And when sometime back Indianexpress.com reached out to him, he shot back and stated:
“Anyone can say anything they want to; we do not want to comment on the matter.”
When probed further, he said:
“The world will get to know about it when they have to, as now we do not feel the need to talk to media about anything.”
