After couples like Aashka Goradia and Rohit Bakshi, Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu, Vivian D’sena and Vabhiz Dorabjee parted ways, there is another addition to the list. The once upon much-in-love couple of small screen, who were loved by the audience as 'Sita' and 'Lakshman' in Ramayana called it quits and ended their relationship of four years.

We are talking about famous television couple Neha Sargam and Neil Bhatt. Yes, you read it right! The cutesy love story of this pretty couple has come to an end.
The couple parted ways last year (2016). A source close to the actor told a leading entertainment portal:
“Neha and Neil have been really close and serious about each other. But due to some personal differences, the two parted ways few months back. Both of them are jolted by the development and are trying their best to overcome from the breakup.”
While the couple has always been quite mum about their relationship, the grapevine was abuzz that they were dating each other. Some time ago, Neil was even quoted saying:
"I am a very private person and my personal life is not for show,"
But later, he confessed his feelings for this beautiful damsel and said:
“Neha is a very strong human being, a very supporting and encouraging girl who made me fall for her.”
But, their love didn't last for a very long time. The two ended up going their separate ways because of the compatibility issues.

Talking about the breakup, after almost a year, Neil said:
"I don't want to talk about the past. When you realise that you are not meant to be with a person, it is better to move on. Neha and I split almost a year ago and I don't want to divulge the reason. I think we were not meant for each other; it happened for the best. I want to be with a girl who understands me. At the moment, I'm only focussing on my career."
Even Neha was asked about their breakup after dating each other for 4 years. Neha said:
"I am too busy preparing for my role to think about something that's clearly in the past now."
When Neha was asked if she is in touch with her ex-boyfriend Neil, here is what she said:
"No. I believe when the time is right, you find the right person. There is no point crying over spilt milk. It's a closed chapter. I'm busy with other things in life."
They both first met on the sets of Zee TV’s Ramayan, where Neha played the role of Sita and Neil played the role of Laxman. After being good friends for some time, they both fell in love with each other and were dating since then.

The speculations got enhanced when they started making public appearances together and they looked quite happy together. Then they went on dates, partied together, and moreover, visited each other on the respective sets. And if reports are to be believed, marriage was also on the cards.
Talking about the work front, Neha Sargam has done famous shows like Doli Armaano Ki, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Punar Vivah and others. Neil, on the other hand, was last seen in famous soap opera, Diya Aur Baati Hum.
