This 1981 romantic drama, which was supposed to be loosely based on the real-life love triangle of Amitabh Bachchan-Jaya Bhaduri-Rekha has till today, a cult following for it. This film was from the Yash Raj camp, and was director Yash Chopra's favourite film. This was the last film that starred the ex-lovers Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha together. While the film may have opened to poor reviews then, it is considered one of the most epic films ever made.
