On July 07, 2015, Bollywood heart-throb, Shahid Kapoor and the beautiful Delhi girl, Mira Rajput got married in an arranged marriage set-up. And now, the couple is all set to become parents for the second time. On April 21, 2018, Shahid confirmed that Mira is pregnant with their second child and she is currently in her second trimester.
The speculations leading to Mira’s pregnancy started off before it was officially confirmed, owing to Mira’s choice of loose clothes. But on April 21, Shahid took to his Instagram and shared a pic of his little munchkin, Misha and chalked out a drawing of balloons and words, ‘Big Sister’ alongside his baby girl, thereby, confirming Mira’s pregnancy.
Since the confirmation, preggy Mira has been flaunting her baby bump like a pro at various events. For instance, it was a double treat for fans when Mira and Shahid marked their presence at Sonam and Anand’s reception. Mira glowed in a white coloured crop top and black pants with a dupatta which made her baby bump mildly hidden.
And now, yesternight i.e. May 31, 2018, Mira went on a dinner date with her friends. Goes without saying that paparazzi followed and clicked her. Also, as per media reports, Shahid and Mira are postponing their June babymoon which they had earlier planned because of Shahid’s work commitments. With Batti Gul Meter Chalu and the remake of Arjun Reddy on his itinerary, Shahid had to postpone the babymoon. He, instead, decided to spend quality time with Mira and Misha.
As per a media report, “Shahid had decided to spend quality time with Mira and Misha daughter in June before he begins training for Arjun Reddy. But now that the Batti Gul schedule is likely to run into June, he has called off the trip. He wants to ensure that his commitment to this film doesn't spill over to that of Arjun Reddy, the shoot of which is lined up for July”.
Earlier, during a media interaction, talking about Mira’s pregnancy and the idea of having the second baby, Shahid said, “Yes, of course. I'm very happy. We just felt like sharing it with everybody. Mira said she wanted to put it out on Instagram and I thought the photograph was really cute. It was a spontaneous decision and it just happened. It's feeling really good. There's still time. This is the second time, so it doesn't feel new, the first time it felt very new. But it's always very exciting and we are really looking forward to having another new member in the family. It's an amazing feeling”.
Well, we are more than elated about Mira and Shahid. We can’t wait to catch a glimpse of Misha’s little sibling.
