Lady Dabangg of Indian television, Kavita Kaushik who is best known for playing Chandramukhi Chautala in famous comedy show, FIR, has been dating actor Nawab Shah for quite some time now.

Nawab Shah is a known face in Bollywood and was last seen in Shah Rukh and Kajol starrer, Dilwale. The two met when they were working on a play. In her previous interview, Kavita opened up about the man in her life. She said:
"He delivered a 30-page monologue and I performed a tandav in it. It was on stage that I knew this was the man I wanted to be with. I used to be impatient, short-tempered, selfish and a lot of other things. He made me realize my mistakes without trying to tame me. We have evolved together over a period of time. He knows me so well that it's scary."

But then, there is a huge age gap of nine years between the two, isn’t she worried? She shared:
"People assume that he has been married because of his age, but no woman can handle him! I should get a bravery award. He is just nine years older than me and that's hardly an age gap. Also, am I someone, who plays safe and evaluates age, religion, etc, before falling in love? Nah. That's an arrangement of sorts and not love."

Their dating rumours started in January 2016 and a lot has been said about their wedding. Reports also suggested that her parents are against this relationship because Nawab belongs to a different religion! Being a famous celebrity in Bollywood has not helped this actor win his girlfriend’s parents’ heart!
Kavita once told that:
"My father has reservations because we belong to different religions. It's really sad that people are still caught in that web. Why do we have reservations about another religion that it stops us from absorbing its goodness?"

A lot of sources in the industry said that Kavita will marry Nawab this year, whether her parents agree or not. Refuting all such rumours, Kavita has a different story to tell.
