Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are often hailed as the power couple of Bollywood. The begum and chote nawab of Pataudi never fail to impress their fans with their chemistry that serves as inspirational goals for their fans out there. For the unversed, the duo got married in 2012 and the couple is blessed with two sons, Taimur and Jehangir. In a recent interaction, the diva shared quite a hilarious yet witty take on her marriage.
Kareena Kapoor recently graced the Netflix India Actors Roundtable, hosted by Rajeev Masand. During the same, the diva was asked about that one thing she wished to tell to her younger self. To this, the diva wittily responded how she could never believe to have ended up getting married and having children with her sister, Karisma Kapoor’s frequent co-star. For the unversed, Karisma and Saif Ali Khan have starred in many movies together, such as Hum Saath Saath Hai, Biwi No 1, Yeh Dillagi among others. Kareena claimed:
“I wish someone told me that you're going to marry your sister's co-star and have children with him.”

In the same discussion, Kareena Kapoor was asked by Sidharth Malhotra about her doing a bold sex scene with Saif Ali Khan in the thriller film, Kurbaan in 2009. The actress revealed she didn’t find it awkward to do such a scene with Saif as they were already dating one another by then. In her words:
“But we were already dating. We were auditioning. So that worked out well.”
In a previous interview with The Dirty Magazine, Kareena Kapoor revealed that she was in a live-in relationship with her husband, Saif Ali Khan before they got married for five years. She further revealed that the only reason why she ended up getting married to him was to have kids and settle down in a family life.

In the same interaction, Kareena talked about the kind of upbringing she has given her sons, Taimur and Jehangir and added that she tries to live her life on her own terms as it is, in front of her kids, without hiding anything from them. In her words:
“We treat them (the kids) as individuals, we respect them, and we just let them be. They will figure it out, they will find their own path. Kids are quite resilient, you know... I want to live my life in front of my kids, I want to do everything with them. We have to be happy na, then they will flourish. I’m responsible for my own mental health first.”
Kareena Kapoor is one such actress who tends to live her life on her own terms, without any thought to what others might think of her. Apart from her acting prowess, she is also known for her fashion and style statements, wherein she is never afraid to embrace her flaws and imperfections. Earlier, at the Express Adda Event, Kareena spoke about embracing her 40s. She revealed:
“I think being in the 40s is just the best part. Personally, I think I feel a lot more relaxed, and after having my children, I think I’m having a lot more fun than I did earlier. It’s so important to have fun because that’s what keeps you going; that’s what keeps you happy. And, you know, longevity, everything is so important. It’s all about just having fun, rather than constantly thinking that I should look like this or I should do this. I’ve never been like that."
