Then, one fine day (much to the delight of their fans, we must say!), they came out with a jointly released note, confirming their wedding! It read:
“We are happy to finally share the good news with everyone. 30 April is the big day and we cannot thank out family, friends, fans and well-wishers enough for their love and support. The wedding will be a private intimate affair. Our deepest gratitude for respecting our privacy this far. Before and after Bipasha announced the wedding, the adorable pair had been sharing a lot of fun moments with each other and their friends. They went out on holidays, lunches and dinners and what not. They seem to have a lot of fun!

The much-in-love couple, who kept their relationship under wraps for over a year before announcing the date of their nuptial, was reportedly inseparable! And, that shows in the pictures that they upload on their Instagram accounts too!

The handsome hunk Karan, is apparently quite a softie, when it comes to his ladylove, Bipasha. Recently, he wrote a beautiful poem for her, in which he describes how much Bips darling means to him and how he just cannot wait to get married to her!

It is signed with “much monkey love, Bipasha and Karan”, the ‘monkey love’ because Bipasha refers to Karan as her monkey, and rightly so, we must say! He is, after all, so cute and jumpy! Look:
Although the couple has kept their wedding trousseau under wraps, it is reported that their attires will be in traditional Bengali styles, as the wedding will also take place according to Bengali rituals! But, this is not the fun part, the fun part is that the naughty couple has kept their dresses a secret even from EACH OTHER! Yes, you read that right! The bride’s trousseau is designed by Sabyasachi and follows the classic Bengali colour scheme of red, gold and white. Bipasha will be donning classic Bengali jewellery but as she is not a huge fan of being over-dressed, she has decided to keep her look minimal. But, that does not mean she will accept anything less than the best for her bridal outfit. Sources say that she is very keen on a particular shade of red for her dress! Even before their D-day has arrived, the couple is being showered by an array of beautiful and creative presents for the couple. Sometime back Bipasha’s sisters, Vijayeta Basu and Baitalikee Ghosh presented her with a wedding planner, with her name printed on it.
Bipasha likes to plan every single detail of any event, be it small or big, so it came as a pleasure surprise for her that her sisters gave her something for the event which is the most important one in her life! Along with the planner came a heartfelt note from her sisters that read:

Everything is digital and on the interwebz these days, but feel free to stick bills, lists, print outs, references and perhaps even photos of behind the scenes madness that is inevitable in this planner. Hopefully it will be an adorbs keep sake that will make you go “Awww!” in years to come.
Congratulations! Still can’t believe you are getting married. This is insane, loca even but all in amazingly good ways.

A little birdie says that the mehendi and sangeet ceremonies will be held on April 29th at a lounge in Juhu. The décor for the ceremonies will be gulabi pink. The actors’ close friends are expected to perform at the function. This is what her friend, Shyamli Arora, said about the functions:
"As all know by now it’s a gulabi theme (pink colour) for her mehendi night. Interestingly, Pink and Red are Bipasha’s favourite colours and suit her the most. So we all decided to lock the pink theme, in terms of décor, lighting etc. At first, it was supposed to be an all-girls outing, and no men were part of it (the mehendi night.) Though, later on, we decided and hence, have now invited Karan and his family to the function.
It’s completely going to be a fun and frolic night. We have planned quite a few surprises for the couple, which will be revealed on that night only."

Earlier it was reported that the couple was planning a lavish reception after their wedding for all their industry friends. Although, the latest news is that the wedding reception is no longer taking place. The couple or their friends though, have not stated the reasons for this. Instead of the reception, the couple has now planned an intimate party for just their close friends where they can come and partake in the duo’s immense happiness!
The overdose of cuteness that the couple has been feeding us with lately, is just so awesome. This 'love in the air' is making us even more excited for the wedding functions to begin already!
