The American entrepreneur and ex-CEO of Amazon, Jeffrey Preston Bezos, aka Jeff Bezos, is engaged to an entertainment reporter and news anchor, Lauren Sanchez. The couple celebrated their engagement with an extravagant party in Italy. Some of the well-known people attended the grand celebrations.
The couple, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are having a great time in Italy together. Last week, they were photographed sharing a kiss on Jeff's extravagant boat, called Koru. The yacht is reported to have cost a whopping USD 500 million and features a wooden sculpture of Jeff's fiancé, Lauren on the prow. The sculpture is decorated with a necklace that bears the Koru symbol. This symbol is based on the spiral shape of a silver fern frond as it unfurls. Jeff’s yacht is believed to be the largest sailing yacht in the world.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez celebrated their engagement by throwing a lavish party to which only a handful of people were invited. Among the invitees were Bill Gates and his girlfriend, Paula Hurd, and Wendi Murdoch, a prominent American businesswoman and ex-wife of Rupert Murdoch. The celebration also included the presence of Fabiola Beracasa Beckman, a notable film and television producer.
As per reports by Page Six, the couple, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez got engaged on May 22, 2023. The duo dated for almost five years before the engagement. As per reports, the 59-year-old Amazon co-founder proposed to the former reporter with a 20-carat colossal diamond ring. The private proposal took place before the duo left for South France to attend the Cannes Film Festival. It is said that only the couple was present at the proposal site somewhere in Spain. Thereafter, the 53-year-old media personality was seen flaunting her new jewellery, which was reportedly priced at USD 2.5 million.

A source told People that Jeff and Lauren are very much in love and happy after their engagement in May. This news has made everyone who knows them happy too. The source also mentioned that finding the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with has been Lauren's dream come true, and seeing her happy is a delight to her friends.
In 2021, Jeff Bezos stepped down from his role as Amazon's CEO to focus on exploring space and his company Blue Origin. He and Lauren are also actively involved in the Bezos Earth Fund, a project they initiated to address climate change, which Lauren co-chairs.
