Amidst many names, we wonder if actress, Gauahar Khan is also going to tie the knot with her alleged beau, Zaid Darbar soon! It was on September 3, 2020, when we had spotted Gauahar and Zaid dancing on Neha Kakkar's song, Diamond Da Challa. While their chemistry had swooned their fans, towards the end everyone had rejoiced as Zaid had gone down on his knees and had slided a ring on Gauahar's finger. The actress had captioned the video as "Ye hai Gaane ka asar YA mann ki baat? Jaldi Batao. #GaJa killing it. #DropYourLove Sshhh!" And now, we hope that it was their ‘mann ki baat’ only and the two get married soon.
As everyone has Gauahar and Zaid’s relationship on their mind, especially because the actress is in Bigg Boss 14 as senior, in a conversation with The Times of India, Zaid Darbar opened up on their marriage plans. When Zaid was asked about his wedding plans with alleged girlfriend, Gauahar Khan, he said, “Whose wedding? We are just family friends, if there is anything we won't hide, it will come out. Just wait for some time, we will tell everyone whatever it is.” He also reacted to the wedding rumours and said, “Yes, but I've heard most probably she is getting married this year. I've heard that too again.”
He also talked about his first meeting with alleged beau, Gauahar Khan. He shared, “We met in 2020. We have known each other as we are from the same industry. She was at Shiamak Davar and did Zangoora also. I was an instructor at Shiamak's. We never spoke there but I had seen her. Then I also saw her at TikTok office.”
Zaid also shared the kind of relationship Gauhar shares with his family and shared how she shares a great bond with everyone and specially his sister, “She has a very strong bond with my family and it's vice versa even they have. They love her and you have no idea how much they do. She is close to us but I feel the entire world loves her. My entire family, my dad, mom, sister, brother, everybody loves her. Recalling how he introduced Gauahar to his father, Ismail Darbar, he quipped, “I got a call from my dad what is happening. My father and I share a different relationship. It has a lot of respect typical old school. Till today I don't have that courage to introduce someone to him as my girlfriend. When I introduced Gauahar to him I just told him 'dad she is Gauahar', he told me of course I know her. That respect I have for him and I feel it should be there and it will be there for my entire life.”
Reacting to Gauahar’s statement, ‘I am taken’ in the BB14 house, Zaid said, “You won't believe even if I don't watch the episodes - her fans, our fans and our social media family are so fast that they keep sending me images and videos. So, even if I don't watch the episodes, I am aware of everything because of them. They keep me updated about everything. They tag me in every video or picture and Rahul also where he asked her to meet him outside and she said 'I am taken'.
