Recently, Freida Pinto's sister, Sharon got married in a traditional Assamese wedding, and the actress ensured to steal the show with her looks. For her sister's big day, Freida got decked up in a yellow-hued gharara featuring a broad gota patti border on its hemline. She teamed her skirt with a matching dupatta and an embellished blouse with a sweetheart neckline and thin straps. Glam makeup, a small bindi, a neat ponytail and sleek jewellery accentuated her look.

Freida also shared a selfie with her sister, who looked simple yet chic at her wedding. The bride opted for a cream-hued saree with gold patchwork all over it and teamed it with a matching blouse. With her pallu placed over her head, Sharon completed her look with traditional gold jewellery, red lipstick, and a huge bindi. On the other hand, Sharon's groom complemented her in a cream-hued ensemble.
For yet another wedding festivity, Freida Pinto opted for a blue-hued silk saree with silver embroidery on it. She paired it with a matching blouse, oxidised jewellery and a silver potli bag. Her husband, Cory looked dapper in a yellow kurta and white pyjama. Meanwhile, Sharon exuded new bride glow in a pink-hued saree paired with a cream shawl and a gajra-adorned hairdo.

Freida Pinto fell in love with her beau, Cory Tran, who is an adventure photographer by profession. After dating for some time, the couple got engaged. And in October 2021, she had confirmed her marriage rumours. On October 21, 2021, Frieda announced the news of her wedding to Cory and dropped some adorable pictures with her husband. Along with it, she revealed that they had got married in 2020 and penned:
"Yes, yes, it's true. One year ago I married this gorgeous man of my dreams. No, we were not keeping it a secret or anything. We were simply just enjoying life and happily shared the news with anyone who asked. @coryt and I believe so much in balancing spontaneity with just the right amount of planning. One day it felt so right and so genuinely aligned that we decided we wanted to make it official. This felt so special and fun and let's be honest… it reflected the time in our world just perfectly!
