Huma doesn't indulge in one but many physical activities. Since she doesn't want to aimlessly run towards weight loss, the activities that she indulges in have many benefits. She starts her day with yoga to work on her metabolism and flexibility. She practices it for 30 minutes each day. Her yoga sessions are followed up by strength training and weight training. This is to condition her body and gain strength
One thing that Huma loves these days is her Pilates classes with her trainer Radhika Karle. Since Huma insists on maintaining her curves, Pilates allows her to do so while working on her core and the alignment of the body.
"I am a tall person and I couldn’t stand straight but Pilates have helped me a lot in developing a better posture. It helped in strengthening my muscles and developing the core. Unlike a workout, its effects are much longer and visible than weight lifting."
Since Huma's aim is to lose weight while building strength and muscles, she finds Pilates to be her perfect partner. Pilates works on the core of your body which works wonders on the overall body.
In an interview, Huma's trainer, Radhika said:
"Your core is the powerhouse of your body and the stronger it is, the stronger the rest of your body will be."
Huma is a self-confessed foodie which makes her hate the concept of crash diets.
"I don’t believe in starving myself to reach an ideal number on the weighing scale."
Her everyday diet is broken into 6-8 mini meals. She starts her day with a glass of warm water, lemon and some grated ginger.
All her food is cooked with very less amount of oil. She eats her dinner latest by 7.30 p.m.
Apart from following a healthy, balanced and wholesome diet, the young actress recently started a 28-days detox cleanse challenge on her Instagram handle. Here, she encouraged her fans to eat healthy for 28 days with her. During these 28 days, she eliminated refined sugar, soda, gluten, wheat, processed food and alcohol completely from her diet.
She ate a lot of nuts, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, quinoa, vegetables, salmon, chicken and lots of green leaves during this course. She also enjoyed her green smoothies and dollops of Greek yoghurt every now and then.
