In 2019, Lily Collins' longtime boyfriend, Charlie McDowell, proposed to her with a USD. 100,000 rose-cut diamond ring, which accounts for INR. 84 lakh. However, in May 2023, Lily's engagement ring was stolen from a luxurious West Hollywood hotel. As Lily was enjoying a spa day, all her belongings were stored in a locker, where she later discovered that her ring was missing. The theft case was lodged with the police, who caught the thief as per the latest buzz.

As per the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the one who stole Lily Collins' engagement ring is a wanted thief in West Hollywood. The suspect is a 34-year-old woman, Andreea Catalina Rosca, who is also known as Nicole Morri. She has also been booked for two other burglaries in the same area, where she has stolen jewellery and credit cards out of lockers at a hotel spa and yoga studio.
Although the case is still under investigation, the sheriff's department has identified Nicole as the prime suspect. The department has also added that Nicole has previously committed similar thefts, and works with the Romanian Organized Theft Groups, and travels across countries in her hunt to loot people.

Lily Collins got engaged to her director boyfriend in 2019 and announced it on her Instagram. However, what caught on the netizen's attention was her unique pink diamond. Upon further investigation, it was found that the ring was custom-made by jeweller, Irene Neuwirth. It is a rose-cut diamond of 3-4 carats in a bezel setting, which allows one to see her skin through the diamond.
