Elvish Yadav, who rose to nationwide fame with his stint in the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2, has been going through the toughest phase of his life. The actor was detained on March 17, 2024, under the charges of supplying snake venom at rave parties in Noida. He was sent to 14 days of judicial custody under the Wildlife Protection Act. Later, it was reported that the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs And Psychotropic) Act, which was also imposed in the case, was waived off as it was a clerical mistake. On March 23, 2024, Elvish Yadav got bailed, and he returned home.
On March 24, 2024, Elvish took to his YouTube channel and posted his first Vlog after seven days of judicial custody. He started the Vlog in the car while his brother-in-law was driving. He quipped if people missed him. He added that his brother-in-law came from Thailand. Elvish also talked about his seven days in jail and called it the 'bad phase' of life. He stated that he doesn't want to talk about his jail stay and will start a new chapter of his life. Elvish also thanked the people who supported him.

Further in the Vlog, Elvish's brother-in-law revealed that his father didn't eat food for three days after his arrest. Elvish also thanked God that he was able to celebrate Holi with his family. He also recorded his mother in his video, and she looked extremely low. The YouTuber asked his mother how her seven days went, to which she said it felt like seven lifetimes. He also revealed that someone in the jail gave him two books, which are extremely good.
On March 23, 2024, Elvish took to his Instagram handle and posted his first photo after coming out on bail. in the picture, he was seen posing with two luxurious cars. He looked dapper in a white shirt and styled it with a sleeveless jacket and a pair of jeans. Along with it, he penned a cryptic note on how time and how it shows a lot of things. He wrote:
"Samay dikhai nahi data par bahut kuch dikha jata hai."
Elvish Yadav is extremely close to his mother, and it is often spotted in his daily vlogs. However, as Elvish was in jail, his family was going through the toughest times, especially his mother, Sushma Yadav. A video of his mother breaking down on camera has been going viral. In the clip, she was sitting with one of Elvish's friends and crying inconsolably, while the friend was trying to calm her down.
