2016 is becoming very special for our Bollywood and TV celebs as many of them have embraced or are ready to embrace parenthood in their lives. Recently, Pataudis welcomed happiness into their world with Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu’s sweet little baby girl, Inaaya Naumi Khemu.

Actress Disha Vakani, who rose to fame with her role of Daya Jethalal Gada in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is on cloud nine as she entered the last trimester of her pregnancy. The actress is all set to enter the new phase of her life. Just like Disha surprised her fans with the news of her wedding with a chartered accountant, Mayur Pandya, she surprised her fans with her pregnancy news too.
Earlier there was official announcement regarding the confirmation of her pregnancy, but we all came to know when Shah Rukh Khan came to promote his film Jab Harry Met Sejal on the show. We all were aware of the kind gestures King Khan did for the mommy-to-be when he came to know about the expecting lady. Now that Disha is in her final trimester, she was surprised with a godh bharai function that was organised by her family members. Disha is in her seventh month of pregnancy. Her mother-in-law was always by her bahu's side and made sure she was comfortable throughout the function.

The mommy-to-be was glowing in a heavy saree, which was teamed up with floral jewellery. This was an intimate ceremony attended by only family and friends. The cast and crew from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah such as Dilip Joshi (Jethalal), Munmum Dutta (Babita), Ambika Ranjankar (Komal Hathi), Kavi Kumar Azad (Dr Hansraj Hathi), Bhavya Gandhi (Tapu) and Samay Shah (Gogi) were present to bless the actress.
Her on-screen son, Tipendra Gada shared the above picture on his Instagram page with a sweet caption for her 'reel' mother:
"Glad to be a part of my “reel” mother’s “real” baby shower ceremony."
Disha has wrapped up her shoot for her maternity leave and will join the show later after baby’s arrival. Due to her character’s popularity, she was requested by the makers to remain the part of the show and her maternity leave was also extended.
