Dipika Kakar Cries After Seeing Her Mother Teary-Eyed During Mehendi Ceremony

Nothing can define the immense endearment and pure love between a mother and a daughter. It is often said that mothers always favour their sons more than their daughters, but all being said, betiyan maa ki parchaayi hoti hai. And no wonder why the emotions are so high, that it gets uncontrollable when the daughter is all set to enter the new phase of her life, marriage.

Though the happiness of mother at that time is beyond limits, at the same moment it is also difficult to imagine her life without her little girl. The above-described feelings are experienced by Dipika Kakar and her mother, Renu Kakar at the moment. Sasural Simar Ka fame actress Dipika is all set to take her wedding vows with her co-actor, Shoaib Ibrahim today i.e February 22, 2018. The wedding festivities kick-started on February 20 with haldi and kalire ceremony. And on February 21, it was Dipika’s mehendi function. Dipika, along with her mother, Renu Kakar were applying beautiful mehendi on their hands and got emotional at that moment. Dipika and Shoaib shared a cute romantic dance moment with each other on the song Sajan Ji Ghar Aaye from the film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. In the same song, when the lyrics come, Mehendi Laake Gehne Paake, the mother-daughter jodi got teary-eyed. Though Dipika tried hard to control her tears but seeing her mother cry, she also broke down. It is surely an emotional moment for them! She has always been expressive about her love for her mother, mother-in-law and sister-in-law. In a Women’s Day post on March 8, 2017, Dipika shared a picture with all of them and captioned it, “I don't say this often, but I am blessed to have you 3 amazing women in my life who are always there for me throughout my ups & down. You'll are my real strength, my backbone, whatever I am today it's all because of you beautiful ladies.”

For the unfamiliar ones, Dipika has a good bonding with her mother-in-law too, and she said in an interview that she is closer to her saasu maa than Shoaib. She also launched her own fashion contour, and named the brand after her mother-in-law, ‘Sitara’. Talking about the same, Dipika was quoted as saying, "The fashion line is named after our Ammi's name and she is the inspiration behind my clothing line. My sister-in-law was the one who gave me the idea to turn into a stylist. She told me since I have a very different and elegant style, I can venture into having a clothing line for girls who can wear the type of clothes you do. I am enjoying playing with fabrics, colours, etc. Earlier, I was doing it only for myself and our family but now I have decided to take it one step further as a business." Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim Wedding

Dipika and Shoaib will walk down the aisle as per Muslim traditions. And after their nikah, the couple will host a wedding reception ceremony at Sea Princess hotel, Mumbai on February 26 for their industry friends. The couple wanted their wedding to be an intimate one, so they decided to keep it away from the media glare in Bhopal, which is also Shoaib’s hometown.

Though Dipika’s mother’s eyes were filled with tears and she got emotional listening to the lyrics of the song, her heart is definitely filled with immense happiness for her daughter’s future.
