We have many such married couples in the film industry, who have huge age gaps, of more than ten years, between them. For these celebs, marriage is all about loving each other without any difference, be it age, religion or caste. Take a look at a few such age-defying Bollywood couples.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput tied the knot on July 7, 2015. There is a 13-year age difference between the 34-year-old Bollywood heartthrob and the 21-year-old student from Lady Shri Ram College. They met through their parents owing to their connection to the religious group, Radha Soami Satsang Beas, of which Shahid and his father Pankaj Kapur are devout followers. They got hitched in a private ceremony, where only a select few friends and family members were present. This was one arranged marriage that broke a lot of hearts!
This is not the first time where the chote Nawab has been in a relationship with someone with a huge age difference. He married Amrita Singh, who was 12 years older to him. But their marriage ended in the year 2004. Saif later fell in love with Kareena Kapoor, on the sets of Tashan. Kareena is 11 years younger to Saif. The duo got married on October 16, 2012.
The couple faced a lot of objections from the Dutt sisters when they got married in 2008. Their love story began after they were reportedly introduced to each other by producer Nitin Manmohan in 2006. They made their first appearance as a couple in 2007. The duo is going really strong, especially after Manyata gave birth to twins in 2010. The 19-year age gap between Sanjay and Manyata, does not seem to affect their relationship at all.
This is the fourth marriage for 69-year-old Kabir Bedi. His wife Parveen Dusanj is actually four years younger than Kabir’s daughter, Pooja Bedi. So, there is an age gap of a whopping 29 years between the two! British-born, Parveen was working as a consultant for social change with the UK government, and had a successful career before she shifted base to India. This couple has been together for a decade now. They have been married since 2005.
Dimple was only 16 years old when she tied the knot with superstar Rajesh Khanna! He was 31 years old and the reigning heartthrob of the Hindi film industry at the time. Dimple's debut film Bobby was yet to release. After marriage, she stopped working in the industry for over a decade. However, when things crumbled between the two in 1982, they got separated and Dimple rejoined the film industry. Interestingly, they never filed for a divorce. A few years after their separation, Rajesh once said:
“You know what? I still love my wife, Dimple.”
Towards the end of his life, Dimple was always there for him, from the moment he fell ill until the day he passed away.
Well, this duo has quite an interesting love story. Dharmendra was already married when he fell in love with Hema Malini on the sets of Tum Haseen Main Jawan (1970). Even their 13-year age gap could not keep them away from each other. Both of them converted to Islam to marry each other amidst family opposition. They have two daughters, Esha and Ahaana.
The 'tragedy king' of Hindi cinema, Dilip Kumar fell in love with Saira Banu and married her in 1966. The ace actor was 45 and she was just 22 at the time of their wedding. There were troubles between the couple in 1980s when Dilip Kumar’s extramarital affair to Asma (a Pakistani woman) was revealed. However, that relationship ended soon and Dilip Kumar was back to Saira Banu. Since then, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu’s marriage has been going pretty strong and steady.
Well, as for these couples, even age could not stop them from falling in love with each other. They proved that when love happens, everything else becomes secondary in life.
