Bollywood actress, Bhumi Pednekar keeps melting the hearts of her millions of fans with her stunning glimpses from her life. From making her acting debut in the 2015 film, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, as an overweight woman, to making her body fit for all kinds of roles, and many more, Bhumi has always shed inspirational goals to all the women of her age. She was last seen in the movie, Thank You For Coming, co-starring Shehnaaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, and Anil Kapoor. However, now, Bhumi shared the news about her hospitalisation and also penned down a few preventive tips for everyone.
Taking to her IG handle, on November 22, 2023, Bhumi Pednekar revealed that she got Dengue and was hospitalised for more than a week. However, she didn't miss the chance to pose for a selfie, the moment she felt better. And indeed, the actress looked stunning even in her no-makeup look. She was seen wearing a hospital gown while we can spot IV channel done in one of her hands. But the actress flaunted a beautiful smile and penned:
"Ek Dengue ke machar ne, mujhe 8 din ka massive torture de diya. But today I woke up feeling like a WOW, so I had to click a selfie. Guys be careful, cause the last few days were extremely tough for my family and I."

In the same note, Bhumi thanked her doctors along with her family for taking the best care of her. She also penned down a few preventive tips for her fans and mentioned how her immunity is affected due to the city's pollution. Her note can be read as:
"Mosquito repellent’s are a must right now. Keep your immunity up. High pollution levels have most of our immunities compromised. Quite a few people I know have gotten dengue recently. Yet again ek invisible virus ne halat kharab kar di :) Thank you my doctors for taking such good care of me @hindujahospital @bajankhusrav #DrAgarwal. Big shout out to the nursing, kitchen and cleaning staff that were so kind and helpful. Most of all Maa, samu and my Tanu @sumitrapednekar @samikshapednekar @tanumourya745."
Time and again, Bhumi has been targeted by the trolls and slammed by them over a range of things. A few days ago, when Bhumi was spotted at an event, her chiselled abs grabbed the eyeballs of the netizens, and they started speculating if the diva has opted for tummy surgery for the same. For the day, she chose to wear a powered-blue-hued co-ord set that included an off-shoulder crop top and a layered skirt featuring a thigh-high slit. The diva completed her look with glossy lips, classy strokes of eyeliner, blushed cheeks, and braided hair. She teamed her ensemble with a boot that goes up to the thigh and a pair of sunnies.

The rumours of her surgery were fueled when netizens spotted a surgery mark on the diva's belly. It happened when a Reddit user shared a picture of Bhumi on the discussion platform and also marked a portion of her tummy, which had a spot. And as soon as the picture was shared, netizens rushed to the comment section and yet again bashed her for getting surgery. However, a few others also supported the actress and stated that it was merely a spot created by wearing her skirt too tightly.
