For the bridal look in the film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Anushka Sharma simply enchanted many minds. She wore a super heavy lehenga that weighed around 17 kg, designed by ace designer, Manish Malhotra during the song, Channa Mereya. However, while explaining her experience about wearing the heavy outfit, in a video, Anushka shared that she was carrying so much weight already, and the jewellery added three more kilos to her look. Although her look was then recreated by many brides afterwards, she revealed being completely uncomfortable wearing it.

Thus, sharing the video, she wrote, "Wearing a 17kg lehenga was indeed Mushkil!!! #ADHM #ChannaMereya #AeDilKiDiwali", and even didn't tag the creator of the piece. Soon, Manish commented, "You looked beautiful and made a stunning bride my dear. And thanks for not even tagging me or mentioning my name considering the passion love and hard work we put in the outfit." Although, later, he deleted the comments, but netizens were quick enough to take screenshots of it.

Now, as a Reddit user shared the post on social media, netizens started reacting to Manish Malhotra and Anushka Sharma's alleged rift. While one user penned, "Anushka has attitude problem", another mentioned, "Anushka is big tantrum queen! But I am surprised how she got away from all this whereas Deepika and Alia where hated for something they were not even part of sometimes. The kind of venom she used to spew against Deepika was horrendous. She thinks she is straight forward and moophat but in reality she is too much of herself and arrogant."

Although Anushka complained about her heavy lehenga in the film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, earlier, in one of the fashion shows, she was seen walking the ramp in another gorgeous lehenga from the same designer's collection. Anushka's lehenga by Manish Malhotra was beige in colour and featured silver embellishments all over it. She teamed her lehenga with a sleeveless choli and a sheer dupatta. In addition, she left her hair open and looked ethnic.
