Anushka Sharma has been a constant support and inspiration for husband and cricketer, Virat Kohli. From whistling and chanting to blowing kisses to her hubby, Anushka is often spotted cheering for him in his matches from the stands. As earlier Anushka travelled to Bangalore to spend some quality time with Virat and cheer for him during the RCB v/s KXIP match, everyone was waiting for her to show up for the RCB v/s MI match in Mumbai too.
Anushka Sharma might not have been there at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai to shout out for her husband, but, she made sure she doesn’t miss out on the cheering. Anushka is busy with her professional commitments and is shooting for her upcoming film, Zero at the Mehboob Studios in Bandra. Anushka exhibited her passionate support for Virat and his RCB squad through her Instagram story and shared, “Go RCB Go, Come on boys!! Match viewing from vanity van cuz work.”
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has credited his wife Anushka for keeping him motivated and was quoted as saying, “People who contribute off the field they deserve a lot of credit as well. My wife who keeps me motivated deserves a lot of credit. She's been criticised a lot in the past. But she's one person who's kept me going throughout the tour. She is a lovely and simple person and she is as honest as well just like I am. And that is what I love about her the most. In Gaurav Kapur’s YouTube show, Breakfast with Champions, Virat talked about his change from being a Dilli ka munda to a gentleman, and gushed, “It’s the magic of my lady-luck. I didn’t have any senses before, but ever since the lady has come into my life, she has taught me a lot of things. So, I have grown better in the last four years. My intelligence has grown in these years with her. She has taught me manners, gotten me calm.”
He further added, “Also, she taught me how to utilize your potential to the fullest at whatever point you are in your life. When I was in my bad phase, my flip in my attitude has come because of her and her alone. At that time, she understood what I was going through. She kept me motivated. As a support she helped me push through. She was a constant standing by like a rock. Virat also revealed the name of that first person with whom he shared the news of being in love with Anushka and what made him so open about his relationship earlier. Virat stated, “A very big reason behind this is Zaheer Khan. Luckily, he was one of the first guys I spoke to about this and he said whatever you do don’t try to hide it because you’ll stress yourself. And on top of that, you’re in a relationship, you’re not doing anything wrong. I’m actually very grateful that my first interaction about this was with Zak.
