Popular filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap's princess, Aaliyah Kashyap is all set to embark on a new journey with her beau, Shane Gregoire and she couldn't be any happier. She recently got a dreamy proposal from her beau in Bali, Indonesia and the pictures from the same have been winning the hearts of millions on the internet. Moreover, a while ago, the soon-to-be bride had also announced that she would get engaged in a traditional ceremony in Mumbai. And now, finally, Aaliyah has revealed her engagement date and we can't wait for the special day.
On July 11, 2023, Anurag Kashyap's daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap hosted an 'Ask Me A Question' session on her Instagram story. In the session, the diva answered several questions from her fans about her career, life, family and especially her wedding. During the session, one of her fans asked Aaliyah about her engagement date. And the soon-to-be bride didn't miss the opportunity to make the big announcement. Dropping a beautiful picture of herself, wherein, she can be seen flaunting her huge diamond ring, Aaliyah revealed her engagement date and stated that she is really excited about it. In her words:
"AUGUST 3RD!!! it's coming so close i'm so excited."

Earlier, on July 6, 2023, Aaliyah had taken to her YouTube channel and dropped a new vlog. In the vlog, the soon-to-be bride revealed that she and her beau, Shane would be wearing stunning traditional outfits from the shelves of the ace deisgner, Anita Dongre. In the video, Aaliyah could be seen trying out some really beautiful lehengas that feature exquisite embroidery all over it. She also said that she would wear a white lehenga on her engagement day but she didn't reveal her outfit. Later, the diva revealed her boyfriend's outfit and mentioned that he would don a white kurta set paired with a light green-hued embroidered jacket.
On June 6, 2023, Aaliyah had dropped a new video with her fiance, Shane Gregoire on her YouTube channel. In the video, the lovebirds could be seen answering their fans' questions about their life, wedding plans and much more. On being asked about their engagement party, Aaliyah revealed that they would host two parties, one with Shane's family in the US and another in India. She also revealed that they would have an Indian engagement party in the first week of August 2023.

For the unversed, it was on May 20, 2023, when Aaliyah had taken to her IG handle and dropped a series of pictures from her dreamy proposal. In the pictures, she was seen flaunting her huge diamond ring. The pictures featured some adorable moments of the newly-engaged couple and they were simply unmissable. Sharing the pictures, Aaliyah had written:
"Soooooo THIS HAPPENED!!!!! To my best friend, my partner, my soulmate and now my FIANCE! You are the love of my life. Thank you for showing me what real & unconditional love feels like. Saying yes to you was the easiest thing I’ve ever done & I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my love. I love you forever & always Fiance (still can’t believe I get to call you that AAHHHH)."
