Popular actress, Akanksha Puri has been leading the headlines ever since she got evicted from the controversial show, Bigg Boss OTT season 2. For the unversed, during her stay inside the BB house, she grabbed many eyeballs when she indulged in a lip-lock with her co-contestant, Jad Hadid, for a 30-second task. However, time and again, Akanksha was labelled as fake and picture-perfect by the panel of judges and her housemates.
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Akanksha Puri opened up about her Bigg Boss journey and mentioned how she was labelled as fake. Talking about the same, the actress shared that she believes in being true to herself and never pretends in front of anybody. She also recalled how she was slammed for being protective of her friends inside the BB house and for worrying about other housemates' food. However, Akanksha shared that those who know her, know that she's extremely caring about the people she loves.

Further in the interview, Akanksha Puri recalled her introduction session on the stage of Bigg Boss OTT season 2 and shared that one of the judges brought up the topic of her love life. However, the actress wasn't comfortable when the judge pointed out that Akanksha's two ex-boyfriends have been a part of Bigg Boss during the same season. Talking about the same, Akanksha revealed that the judge was talking about late Sidharth Shukla and Paras Chhabra, but she didn't like it. She mentioned that the late actor, Sidharth, passed away, and it was unfair to drag him in between.
Reflecting on the same, Akanksha mentioned that previously she was offered a wild card entry in Bigg Boss 13, but she didn't want to create a scene about her love life so she declined the offer. However, the actress added that if she would have been a part of that season, she would have played for those two important people in her life. Akanksha also talked about how her past relationships were brought up in front of her when she was least expecting it and added that though she love that phase of her life, she wants to put the past behind her.

Akanksha Puri also talked about how her love angle with Jad Hadid was called fake, as the makers felt that it was just for the TRP. Mentioning that Jad was totally into her from Day 1, the actress revealed that she too liked him and their bond had the potential of becoming something serious if she would have stayed inside the BB house. However, Akanksha also revealed that she takes time to form bonds and fall in love, so she didn't immediately reciprocate her feelings for Jad. Calling herself unlucky in love, the actress shared that her last relationship ended in 2019, and since then, she has not dated anyone.
