On May 1, 2018, there was a special screening of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor’s film, 102 Not Out was held in Mumbai. For the screening, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was accompanied by her husband, Abhishek Bachchan and from the pictures, they both seemed to have enjoyed the film. But what caught our attention is how the doting bahu of Bachchans escorted her naani saas i.e Jaya Bachchan's mother to her car, after the screening. Aishwarya and Abhishek assisted her as she got into the car.
The special screenings of 102 Not Out are being organised for the past couple of days. Rishi Kapoor’s wife, Neetu Kapoor and his mother, Krishna Raj Kapoor graced the screening of the film earlier. Also, Hema Malini, David Dhawan, Rekha, Prem Chopra, among others attended it and commended the film. Rishi Kapoor’s son, Ranbir Kapoor was snapped at the screening with Aishwarya and Abhishek and he looked dapper in a white tee and rugged denim. 102 Not Out is a comeback film for the duo, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor in which the former plays the role of a 102-year-old man, and the later plays the role of his 75-year-old son. When asked Big B about his experience working with Rishi Kapoor after 27 years, he retorted to DNA, "It’s always good. We’ve done so many iconic films (Amar Akbar Anthony, Naseeb and Coolie, etc) together. It’s not as though he was ever out of sight or out of mind. The two of us have been around in the industry, he’s also a member of the family now. My daughter (Shweta Bachchan Nanda) is married into his (Kapoor-Nanda) family. So, it’s not like a lost-and-found story. It isn’t as if we just met after 27 years. He’s an accomplished artiste; the choice of him playing the other role was good. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not only an ideal bahu, but also a perfect wife. When Abhishek was asked if his wife was okay with his two-year-long hiatus from movies, he was quoted as saying, “I didn’t say I don’t wanna be an actor anymore, I just said I need to change the kind of films I am doing. It took two years for me to get the right film, that I perceived to be the right film... How was it on the family? I spoke to them, I told them, and they were very supportive... They were okay with it. I think somewhere they were like ‘Okay, one year has gone by, what is this guy doing? I think that’s a parental instinct.
