Aashika Bhatia, in the same interview, was asked about her mom being unhappy with Elvish Yadav's comment on her dressing choice. For the uninformed, Elvish earlier commented on Aashika's clothes and labelled them as 'chhote kapde' during a conversation with Manisha Rani, which made Aashika's mom a bit angry. However, when Aashika was asked about the same, she said that she knows Elvish as she stayed 24/7 with that person, and her mom just watched him for an hour. Aashika also shared that Abhishek Malhan talked to Evlish about the same, and the latter apologised, and that's it. Aashika stated:
"I stayed with Elvish in the house and I know he is genuinely a good guy. I stayed with him 24/7, I know him. My mother only saw only one hour of the episode, but I understood him better. It’s not like I did not stop Elvish from commenting on my clothes. I told him to stop commenting and I will wear what I want. Even Abhishek made him understand and he realised and apologised to me. Baat khatam."
For the uninformed, even before Aashika and Elvish entered the BB house as wild card contestants, they shared a controversial history. Elvish once roasted Aashika and even body-shamed her. When asked about this particular topic, Aashika mentioned that she and Elvish sorted things out outside the house. The diva also mentioned that she had told Elvish if he repeated the same thing, she would take this to cybercrime, and since then, Elvish stopped roasting. Aashika also heaped praise on her co-contestant, Elvish Yadav and shared that whatever roast he did inside the way, it was healthy and fun banter. Talking along the same line, the actress also mentioned that Elvish is a good guy and he loves sarcasm. Aashika said:
"I had categorically told him that if he repeats it, I’ll take strict action and report to cyber crime. After that he stopped roasting and started with making vlogs. Usne apne roasting waali Zindagi hai khatam kar di thi… then there was no point discussing it. But whatever he was doing inside was a healthy fun banter. It’s his nature to joke and have fun. I understood this when I met him inside and spent days with him. He loves sarcasm and now we are friends."
